Ofgem (The Office of Gas and Electricity Markets) - formed in 1999 by the merger of the former Office of Gas Supply (Ofgas) and the Office of Electricity Regulation (OFFER), Ofgem is the regulator for Britain's gas and electricity industries. Its role is to promote choice and value for all customers.
energywatch - energywatch is the independent gas and electricity consumer watchdog setup under the Utilities Act (2000) to help consumers with whatever issues they may have regarding the gas and electricity industry.
The Energy Saving Trust - is a non-profit organisation funded by UK Government and the private sector. It was established following the 1992 RIO Earth Summit and has goals of promoting general efficiency and reduced consumption of energy, in particular related to carbon emissions and climate/environmental improvement.
